This looks close to my idea of a tide clock. Is that wavey ellipse shape near the center a tide curve? “Time and Tide wait for NO man”
It’s the Equation of Time, slowly changing over the course of a year. Tides would be daily, so a rapidly oscillating sine curve might do.
Thanks for your reply. I tried a sine function plotted as a polar diagram on Excel and came close to what would be ideal. Just got to get into app development now.
